オスプレイ戦史シリーズきたる
オスプレイ社のあのシリーズ、というと、通のかたは英語版のほうがピンと来るかもですが。新紀元社から日本語版が出てますので、買ってみています。一冊1800円なり。
１『グラディエイター 古代ローマ剣闘士の世界』bk1
２『イングランドの中世騎士 白銀の装甲兵たち』bk1
３『馬上槍試合の騎士 トーナメントの変遷』bk1
２と３を書いたのはロンドン塔の王室武器庫の甲冑部門最高責任者なんだそうです。
専門家の文章がリアルな画風のイラストで補強されて、すばらしく分かりやすい、ある意味、実用的な本だったり。
いや、何に使うってわけでもないんですがね(笑
もっと絞り込まれているメンアットアームズのシリーズは34巻出ています。
